And verily in cattle (too) will ye find an instructive sign. From what is within their bodies, between excretions and blood, We produce, for your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it.
(Nahl 66. Verse)
TheQur'anis the first medical scientist of the Muslim scientistIbn-i Nefis to study the blood circulation of Ibn-i Nefis, one of the famous Islamic scholars, and to find the bloodstream. Miguel Servet, a European medical scientist, was uncovered in all aspects of blood circulation by Ibn-i Nefis centuries before information about blood circulation was presented by Realdo Colombo and Harvey in the 1500s. It was defended by the Paris Medical Faculty as a thesis in 1953 regarding Ibn-i Nefis's finding of blood circulation, and it was accepted by proving that Ibn-i Nefis was the first person in the world to find blood circulation. http://www.tibbiyardim.com/ibn-i-nefis-kimdir.html It appeared 600 years before he defined blood circulation and 1,000 years before William Harvey brought this understanding into the Western world. About fourteen centuries ago, before it was known what was in the intestines to ensure the nutrition of organs through digestive absorption, this verse in the Qur'an identified the source of milk components in accordance with these concepts.
The basic substances that feed the body are formed as a result of chemical transformations in the digestive system. The digested substances are included in the bloodstream from the intestinal wall. In this way, it is referred to the relevant organs. The milk glands are fed from the blood like other body tissues. Milk is secreted from the milk glands after many stages. Its nutritional value is enormous, wonderful food. Man can't consume half-digested food in the animal's abdomen, nor can he directly consume animal blood. In order not to cause serious poisoning or even death, Allah (p.v.t.) offers a clean and healthy perfect food for the benefit of the people with its highly complex biological systems. Thus, feeding milk is produced, which is drinkable from blood and semi-digested food that people cannot consume directly.
What is described in the verse about the biological formation of milk is in great harmony with the information that sciences such as physiology and anatomy present today. The word "en'âm", called the dairy animal, covers sheep, goats, cattle and camels. The Great Mighty Power draws attention to its wisdomful creativity: with the word "fers" meaning food residue, the nutrients of foods are taken during digestion and no longer worth it for their live metabolism, which will be thrown out in feces after a while residues. In the digestive process, elements from the intestinal tract are carried to the blood and constitute the infrastructure of a completely different system. In the verse, milk is in dicated that it is in a position between this food residue and the blood. Milk comes from the blood-carried foods with the system of nutrient growth in the body, never interfere with them and has a different value from them with its chemical structure and characteristics. Almost between milk and the other two substances (blood and food residues), a veil is drawn with the power of Allah, and the purity of milk in terms of color, taste and smell is prevented by mixing into one or both of them.2https://www.researchgate.net/publication/336128544_THE_MIRACLE
Blood flow to the diaper is extremely important for breast function. All milk pioneers come from the blood. To produce 1 liter of milk, it is necessary to pass 500 liters of blood through the breast. When a cow produces 60 liters of milk a day, 30,000 liters of blood circulates from the milk cloth.
"It is very remarkable to mention blood in the formation of milk. As follows: Blood travels through the body and carries the food stuffs and the oxygen needed by the tissues and organs. Thus, the role of blood is of course great in ensuring the formation of nutrients in the milk produced. It seems that it is inconceivable that the Qur'an, which was about the vital activity that blood provided in the body fourteen centuries ago and its role in the formation of milk, is a human word. Because at that time, there was no school that knew and read such information that formed the basis of science." 3Celal Yildirim, Quran Interpretation of the Century in the Light of Science
